If you want to burn fat fast, choose exercises which burn the most calories and stimulate your metabolism. This includes anything from running miles a day to power walking with a friend around the park. The goal is to up your heart rate and burn calories. Once this happens, try jogging a little harder or lifting heavier weights with more repetitions. You will have to continually challenge your body as your overall fitness improves.
