Fat Blasting Workouts

Working out makes some people shudder. Just the thought of weight lifting and push ups is enough to make people squirm. Unless you want to be a body builder, you need not lift weights unless you want to. Weight lifting builds muscle and you want to blast the fat. No exercise routine works by itself, you must change your eating habits to healthier foods as well.

Before you start any exercise check with your doctor to make sure you are able to take on an exercise program. When you start an exercise routine and stay on the same routine everyday for four to six weeks, your body will adapt to that routine and your progress will stall and that will defeat your purpose. Stay on a routine for a couple of weeks and change to a more intense exercise. Walking for 15 minutes, three to four times a week for one to three weeks and then add more intense exercises.

This routine is for beginners, but if you can't do the whole routine for the full 30 minutes, just do what you can and increase over time. You can use the treadmill for this one. Start with five minutes at three mph for a warm up. Then do the sixth minute at four mph, seventh minute at five mph, eighth minute at seven mph, and so on. It took nine months for you to gain the baby weight so it won't come off overnight. Be patient, work out and eat healthy, it will disappear over a few weeks.
