We've heard it so much that is engrained in our brain. But do we follow the advice? Most of us do not. We do not drink enough water throughout the day. Yet, it is vitally important for us to drink enough water each and every day.
First, drinking water keeps your brain healthy. Our brain tissue contains about 85% water. By keeping up our water intake we will keep our brain functioning properly. Dehydration can be a main cause of headaches, migraines, chronic fatigue syndrome and even depression. Dehydration affects your overall health. One of the first symptoms of dehydration is a headache. Many people will take aspirin for their headache, when all they need is a glass of water. Also, water regulates your body temperature, especially during exercise.
Next, drinking water flushes the toxins out of your body. The function of ou kidneys is to remove waste from our bodies. They help to flush toxic products like uric acid and lacticacid outof the bloodstream. These toxins, if they are not flushed out of your body will make you feel sluggish and even ill. These toxin also put undo stress onother systems of your body. Drinking water regularly lessens the toxic build up in the kidneys keeping you healthy.
Last, drinking water stimulates the circulation of blood and fluids in your body. Water also contorls and regulates the skin's natural balance. Drinking water also lubricates and hydrates your joints. It eases muscle discomfort and promotes proper flow to all organs and body systems.
