Fat Fighting Foods

You have heard the news about foods that help your body fight fat. If you are trying to win the “battle of the bulge,” this sounds like great news, especially after eating some of those tasteless and boring frozen meals. Your body needs real food, and it is great news to hear that you can finally eat it. Many have found out that diets do not work. If the body feels like it is being deprived, it just holds onto that food, not burning it like it should. However, you still need to watch the “quantity” of foods eaten.

Actually, most of you know what foods to eat and which ones to avoid. Everyone knows that fried, greasy food is not what should be eaten when trying to get rid of excess fat. You may be able to fit it in occasionally, but not everyday. Your diet should consist of whole grains, fruits, and veggies; the more natural, the better it is for you. Your fruits and veggies can be frozen or canned, just watch sodium with canned. These have fiber, so you fill up faster.

Supposedly, MUFAs (monosaturated fats) should be used to get rid of belly fat, which many, regardless of sex, want. The foods that are highest in MUFAs are oils, olive and canola are best; dark or semi-sweet chocolate, nuts and seeds, (even peanut butter), olives, and avocados. These help by filling you up, without filling you out. Belly fat is the most deadly, for it is closest to the heart. Get on the computer or talk to your doctor and see what is best for you.
