Any goal or commitment you undertake begins with a thought. When someone decides to take on any new task in life in order to reach a certain goal they first weigh in their mind the pros and cons of taking on that task. If the goal they want to reach is not that important to them they may give it a passing thought, try it for a long it is not too uncomfortable for them and then go back to their old habits without ever realizing it.
If you really want to change your health and your body, you need to first start with your mental attitude. It has to be a strong desire to want to change. It is a conscious effort backed up by mental toughness, positive action, and most importantly, persistence. We all get off track sometimes. Nobody is perfect. It is how you react to the fallbacks. It is your persistence. For example, when a child is learning to ride a bike, they many fall or lose their balance many times before they become proficient at riding. Do they give up? I’ve never seen it happen. Eventually, they all get up, dust off the gravel from their knees and do it again. That is persistence. Persistence equals success. Do you know anyone who never learned to ride a bike or gave up trying? I don’t.
Don’t let failure be an option and you won’t fail. Never, ever give up. No matter how many times you fall, get back up and continue. You will achieve your goals.
